Worship at St. Mary's
Worship at St. Mary's is based on the Book of Common Prayer. It contains music, multiple scripture readings, a children's homily, sermon, prayers, and a celebration of the Eucharist.
Worship is an act of the whole People of God with many people assisting our priest. Below you will find some basic information about what to expect in our services.
Nothing compares, however, to experiencing it yourself!
We currently have services at 8:00am and 9:30am on Sundays.

The Heart of Who We Are
St. Mary's is a joyful, active parish whose mission begins and ends with the worship of God as revealed to us in the person of Jesus Christ. Our services are structured according to the Book of Common Prayer, consisting of prayers, scripture readings, a sermon, and the celebration of the Eucharist, or Holy Communion. The two services differ in that we have music at 930am.
In our worship, we aim to draw closer to God and to one another through Christ as revealed in Scripture, and the presence of Christ made known to us in Communion.
While our worship is highly structured, it also has a relaxed atmosphere. Parishioners and visitors alike are welcome to "come as you are," bringing your whole and entire self to the community.
Worship is an act led by the priest with the full participation of the assembly. Parishioners assist in worship through leading of prayers, the reading of Scripture, and assisting with Communion.
Sermons
"One of the things that first attracted me to the Episcopal Church was that I found the sermons to be thoughtful and meaningful to our day. It is my own prayer that when I preach, I convey the same message of hope and love that I have found in the Gospel.
Our lives are full and complicated in the best of times. If I can show a God who offers some relief, a Jesus that offers peace, and a Spirit that offers encouragement, then I will have made a good start in doing what God has called me to do."
