St. Mary's Food Pantry distributes food on the 2nd and 4th Monday each month from 930am to 1130am. Our volunteers come from both the parish as well as the Colonial Beach community. Healthy Harvest delivers twice monthly on days we are open. We help provide plentiful, healthy, and balanced options for 50-55 families per month. Our hope, along with the Episcopal Church Women (ECW) and Vestry, is to provide full Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners for 70 families.
Guests receive a prepackaged box of staples and are invited to choose their own meats, produce, baked goods and pet food. A special table is also prepared featuring items usually not included in our truck delivery. These favorites include dish soap, detergent, coffee, butter, and in February, cherry and strawberry ice cream!
The Colonial Beach Foundation continues to provide us with $10 gift card from Halls and Food Lion. Generous friends and parishioners donate throughout the year. The Animal Welfare League of Northern Neck provides us with free dry cat and dog food every month.

The food pantry also partners with our other outreach and community engagement ministries. Handmade scarves are donated by our Prayer Shawl ministry. The Thrift Shop opens their doors to families in need supplying hats, gloves, socks, and winter coats.
