The Thrift Shop has long been a part of St. Mary's and is a ministry of Episcopal Church Women (ECW). For many years, parishioners and town neighbors have contributed their wares for the community's benefit. Men, women, and children are happy to brose and purchase clothing, books, games, and select small appliances at a much reduced cost. The doors are also open for those unable to afford even the simplest amount.
Our barely used surplus goods are given to a neighboring Episcopal Opp Shop and a local Goodwill. We also contribute some of our earnings back to the parish operations through an annual pledge. In addition, the Thrift Shop contributes to the Colonial Beach Rescue & Fire Squad, Shelters for women seeking safety, St. Jude's, and other charities.

The Thrift Shop is open all year on Fridays and Saturdays from 10am to 1pm. For information on volunteer opportunities, giving a financial or merchandise donation, or seeking to obtain goods, please contact ECW President Diana Morton through the Church office.
